We are delighted to announce that [Goose](https://github.com/nilenso/goose) now includes batch processing as a feature. This makes Goose the very first background processing library in Clojure to offer this capability, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring it to you.

Execution times for long-running tasks that process multiple _isolated_ units can be significantly improved by using Batch-Jobs. For example, if a task involves sending emails to N people, you can enqueue and execute them as a batch job, and be notified upon its completion.

If you are not already familiar with Goose, it is a reliable and pluggable background job processing library for Clojure, offering features such as Asynchronous, Scheduled, Periodic, and now Batch Jobs.

Sounds interesting? Get started by following the [README.md](https://github.com/nilenso/goose/blob/main/README.md), or dive right in using the [Wiki](https://github.com/nilenso/goose/wiki)! If you could kindly help us spread the word among your friends and colleagues who might find it useful, we’d greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!
