On May 24th, 2025, we had the seventh meeting of the [scicloj-ai-meetups](https://scicloj.github.io/docs/community/groups/ai-meetups/), group.

11 people attended the meeting.

## Brief summary

- In the main part, in an interactive session, @PEZ presented [Calva Backseat Driver](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=betterthantomorrow.calva-backseat-driver), a VSCode extension to allow AI assistants to use the Clojure REPL.
- Towards the end, @daslu presented [a proof of concept](https://scicloj.github.io/prompts/explore) for creating a catalogue of prompts for data analysis tasks using the [underlying libraries](https://scicloj.github.io/noj/noj_book.underlying_libraries.html) of the [Noj](https://scicloj.github.io/noj/) toolkit. This was a concrete exploration of some aspects of the `llms.edn` idea presented by @kapil in meetings 3 and 6.

Thanks for having me! 🙏 I got some super good feedback. It seems people understood the challenges remaining. I’m eager to continue pressing on and see where we can take this!

Here are the slides: [GitHub - PEZ/scicloj-backseatdriver-prezo](https://github.com/PEZ/scicloj-backseatdriver-prezo)

The README has some brief instructions for how to try the “Extend VS Code for me, please” part of the demo.
