# Visual-tools meeting 10: monthly meeting -- Oz

The [visual tools](https://scicloj.github.io/docs/community/groups/visual-tools/) group will have its 10th meeting on August 5th.

It will be a monthly meeting, focusing on [Oz](https://github.com/metasoarous/oz) from a developer’s point of view. We will dive into the code and learn how to extend it.

## Preparation

It is recommended to watch @Christopher_Small’s Oz workshop from Nov. 2021:

If you have any concrete questions or wishes for the session, it would be great to ask at the [#oz Slack channel](https://clojurians.slack.com/archives/C02PF73SETZ) before the session.

## Length

The official part will be 90 minutes long.  
Sometimes some of us like to stay longer and chat.

## Platform

- We will use Zoom for the video call.
- We will use the [#visual-tools](https://clojurians.zulipchat.com/#narrow/stream/313390-visual-tools) Zulip stream for chat (see the [meeting 10](https://clojurians.zulipchat.com/#narrow/stream/313390-visual-tools/topic/meeting.2010) topic thread).

## Recording

Most of the meeting will be recorded and shared publicly.  
Some parts will be unrecorded.

## Joining

Please use the **`Going`** button at the top of this post to mark your participation.  
You can also use the **`Add to Calendar`** to add the event to your calendar.

If you wish to present anything in the meeting, suggest ideas, or raise questions, that would be wonderful. It’d be good to know in advance if possible so that we can be clever about our use of time.
