What I actually find amazing with the remote extensions is that in your case you could just as well use a docker container in place of wsl and it would work the same way in theory. VS Code on your mac, calva+joker+etc installed directly into the container.
I think last time I tried Calva, the not being able to jump to a symbol was the deal breaker for me, As a cursive user, I’m also envious of atom’s inline eval
Calva has always supported that. But it used to be a lot of trouble with getting the dependencies right. Which is why Jack-in is such an important feature.
Yes, ProtoREPL really shines there. Calva’s inline evaluations are a bit less rich, but they work great for small results.
