Old programmer who has loved lisp dialects since the early 90s. Now find myself in the great position of being able to be ‘picky’ regarding what projects I want to work on. Now that I’m at the end of my career, I can prioritise working on what I find interesting over what will develop my career and pay the bills. Still love writing code and still enjoy a work challenge and believe my 35+ years as a developer and manager provides valuable insight into what is involved in developing and maintaining good software.
