Ask.clojure.org

I was not aware of it, but it looks like there is an “official” Clojure QA site/forum at https://ask.clojure.org/ - it looks like it’s basically empty now. Thoughts?

Here is the official announcement: https://clojure.org/news/2019/07/25/clojure-forum

I see over 1,500 questions on the site – doesn’t look “empty” to me @l3nz

It’s new. Just announced.

Yesterday morning there were 1499 cases imported from Jira and one question, so it was not that packed

Ah, you didn’t consider the JIRA “questions” as valid content?

It will be interesting to see what kind of “questions” will end up go there and how this forum changes.
What do you think it’s a good content for clojureverse.org that shouldn’t end up in ask.clojure.org and vice versa?

I’d say ask is for questions about Clojure itself or its Contrib libraries where you’re looking for a specific answer (or requesting an enhancement or reporting a bug), and clojureverse is for more general discussions – or questions outside of Clojure/Contrib.

In reality, I suspect people will ask broader questions on ask as well, but I don’t know whether they’ll get good answers there.
