Dan Stone (wotbrew (wotbrew) · GitHub) will be presenting
“Functional relational programming with relic”

relic (GitHub - wotbrew/relic: functional relational programming for clojure/script.) is a library for
Clojure/script that provides a SQL-like DSL for your Clojure
data. Embrace the relational information model, use integrity
constraints, compose views as data, and have relic manage data flow
with incremental materialized views.

With the lofty goal of reducing accidental complexity in many
line-of-business applications, relic is a love letter to Moseley and
Marks 2006 paper ‘Out of the Tar Pit’ (http://curtclifton.net/papers/MoseleyMarks06a.pdf).

Dan has been emitting s-expressions since 2014. Currently works @
Riverford on the hard CS problem of shipping veg to families in the
UK. Likes indexing collections.

Hi All,

unfortunately, Dan is not able to deliver this talk. He’s under a lot of work-related pressure and he doesn’t think he can deliver the talk the way he wanted.
We will reschedule this talk to a later time when things are better for Dan.
