Here are our study plans for the coming weekend at the ml-study Scicloj study group.
Please write to me about the sessions you are planning to attend, or if you have any questions.
- This introductory post from Dragan’s blog.
- The beginning of the Numerical Linear Algebra for Programmers book.
We will go as far as we get in two hours. We will assume familiarity with Clojure, and not assume knowledge of linear algebra.
One person will be sharing the screen and demonstrating and explaining, and we will help that person and think together as a group. If you wish to be that person, please reach out to me beforehand, as you’ll need to set up your environment and read through the book.
In general, everybody is invited to try things at their own machine during the session, but please note that some setup is needed – it is recommended to verify that Neanderthal works at your environment before the session.
The three sessions will be self-contained and independent, all with the same agenda above.
As usual, we will record the sessions but share the recording only here, for the friends who miss the session.
