Visual-tools meeting 13 - interactive data visualizatioon: Shiny, Clojurescript Bayesian animations

On Oct 14th we had the 13th meeting of the visual-tools group, a group for collaborations across different Clojure projects for literate programming and data visualization.

In this meeting, we had two presentations about interactive data visualizations.

  • @adham gave an overview of the Shiny R package for interactive data visualizations, demonstrated through a geospatial analysis use case.

  • @jamiepratt presented the use of Clojurescript for interactive animations of Bayesian inference, a project done in the Jointprob study community.

  • Following the presentations, we also had a discussion of the current Clojure data visualization ecosystem
