Visual-tools meeting 3: general monthly meeting

The visual tools group is having its third meeting on March 5th.

It will be a monthly meeting for general updates and brainstorming.

Length

The official part will be 90 minutes long.
Sometimes some of us like to stay longer and chat.

Platform

• We will use Zoom for the video call.
• We will use the #visual-tools Zulip stream for chat (see the meeting 3 topic thread).
• We share resources and take notes at the common folder @prnc created:

Most of the meeting will be recorded and shared publicly.
Some parts will be unrecorded.

Joining

Please use the Going button at the top of this post to mark your participation.
You can also use the Add to Calendar to add the event to your calendar.

It is recommended to follow the “#visual-tools” Zulip and Slack channels – the Zoom link will be shared there too.

If you wish to present anything in the meeting, suggest ideas, or raise questions, that would be wonderful. It’d be good to know in advance if possible so that we can be clever about our use of time.

I learnt so much last time so can’t really resist joining this time as well. For realz, it is exciting to see a thing like this form, and I’m happy I will be able to tell my kids that I was here when it happened.

As with last time, I probably can’t contribute a lot. Will be listening in intently and try to figure out context so that I understand how the Calva team can be of assistance when our participation is needed.
